Develop, create, design and market specific programs to attract workers for job opportunities on a project.
Educate and assist employeers regarding incentives provided by state or federal programs for on-the-job training and employer tax credits.
Screen and certify the status of workers.
Provide job-related and remedial training.
Referral and Retension
Establish a referral and retiontion tracking mechanism for placed local workers and apprentices.
Coordinate with the various trades and craft unions for referral and placement of workers.
Maintain a database of pre-qualified workers for referral to work on a project and/or indentureship into a bona fide labor/management apprenticeship program.
